I'm
Lindsay, 26 and married to James. We have a monster...I mean child
called Jack; 13 months. We live in Leeds, fairly near the city, and
both James and I have a car each. I like my independence and being
able to jump in the car with Jack and go somewhere. As a family we
like to visit places and do things, James works hard running his own
business so at weekends we make the most of our time together. I
can't wait to try the New Vauxhall Meriva and will definitely try to
put it through it's paces!

Oh
my god… I love it!! Apart from stalling as I tried to change into
second gear for the first time (women drivers eh?)...it’s fab! I keep
reaching for the handbrake, but it’s not there! Just a little switch
that makes it much easier and more ladylike :) Being able to drive off
without releasing the handbrake is slick and easy, it really is lovely
to drive - and I've only been to the shop and back! To be honest, I
was a little apprehensive about driving the car as I’m used to little
hatchbacks, but it’s not as big as I thought it would be. It’s really
nice and compact and looks so smart!

Jack's
first ride was great. He seemed to like being higher up (to nosey at
the world) and the Flexdoors really made getting him in and out so much
easier. I fitted the car seat no problems. He started whinging when
the sun shone in through the panoramic sunroof, but it was easy and
quick to close it and get some peace. Overall...I think he liked it!
