My name is Sarah and I live in Warrington, Cheshire with my husband Anthony and our two daughters Ella who is 3 years old and Lacey who is 5 months.
Just had my new car delivered and I love it!!!! Feels like I have been waiting for ages for this car to arrive, I cant believe I have been given the opportunity to have this car for 2 weeks. The New Vauxhall Meriva looks right at home parked on my driveway. All the neighbours must think we have come into some money! LOL! Can't wait to go and collect Ella from pre-school, that will be my first drive of my new car.
Ellas pre-school is about an 8min drive from my house or a 30min walk. My husband has our family car for work so I always walk to collect Ella from school, so normally I have to leave my house at 11am. Not today!!! I won't have to leave the house to collect her until 11.20am which is a big help as I don't need to rush getting out of
the house with Lacey my youngest.
Left the house at 11.20am, Lacey stayed at home with my mum. I pulled away from the drive no problem, I love this car! I was a bit nervous at first driving a really expensive car but once I tuned in my favourite radio station and figured out the gadgets (the handbrake is a button!) I was fine, and it felt like it had always been my car.
I had told Ella that morning that mummy would be picking her up in her new car so when she came out of school she was searching the car park for our family car, (which we have now affectionately named 'The Banger' as the New Meriva is miles better than our family car!)
Ella asked where my car was, the minute I showed her she said, 'wow mummy is that your car? Its amazing!!' She was so excited she couldn't wait to get in. Ella was also amazed that the doors opened (in her words) 'the wrong way' which is a great feature of the car as it eases getting the kids in and out; this is my favourite feature of the car. Getting Ella in and out was a breeze. So my first trip in the car has been very well approved by my 3 year old and me! Oh and I think I made a few mums at the school jealous, they don't need to know it's only mine for 2 weeks do they?????????????????
